Numbers in YUNITY Park
Genesis Property has made a firm commitment to become a net-zero carbon company by 2040 and transition to low-carbon construction.
As environmental concerns grow increasingly urgent, there is a rising demand for sustainable workspaces that reduce businesses’ ecological footprints. YUNITY Park, with its 4,000 square meters of photovoltaic panels generating 12% of the park's energy consumption, offers a solution by integrating renewable energy sources into the workplace.
With a GLA of 75,000 square meters, YUNITY Park intelligently dedicates a significant portion of its space to green areas and renewable energy infrastructure, benefiting not only the environment but also the well-being and operational costs of its tenants.
All seven buildings in YUNITY Park are already classified as Class A in energy efficiency.
YUNITY Park is designed as a landmark and a model of best practices for implementing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
GREEN PARK: 7,500 m²
URBAN FOREST: 1,000 m²
- Trees planted: 170 with an additional 30 by the final phase | Total: 200
- Shrubs and perennials planted: 4,000 with an additional 3,500 by the final phase | Total: 7,500
CO2 ABSORPTION:
- At maturity, the 200 trees will contribute to the absorption of over 5 tons of CO2 annually.
IRRIGATION SYSTEMS:
- Rainwater retention basin
- 1,600 linear meters of smart irrigation system piping
SMART LED LIGHTING SYSTEMS:
- 55 light poles, 100% LED. The poles and the 22 benches in the park provide access to a total of 125 power outlets for outdoor work.
FERTILE SOIL LAYER:
- 2,550 tons – 1,700 m³
EXCLUSIVE PEDESTRIAN SPACE:
- Nearly 2 km (1,894 m) of paths for walking and outdoor exercise.
PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS:
- 4,000 m² | 1,080 PVP | Installed capacity: 600 kW
- Annual energy production: 650–680 MWh/year
- Energy generated: 12% of the total consumption needs of the office park.
IMPACT (Feb 2023 – Apr 2024):
- CO₂ reduction: 409.23 tons
- Trees saved: 22,165
- Coal reduction: 165.82 tons
CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
used in the development of YUNITY Park:
NEXT-GENERATION CONCRETE
- Contributes to reducing the CO₂ footprint of any construction by over 30% compared to other concretes prepared with standard Type I cement.
SUSTAINABLE METAL FORMWORKS
- Designed for multiple uses, significantly reducing material waste.
GLASS RAILINGS
- 300 linear meters, environmentally friendly, made from sand, an abundant raw material, directly supporting the conservation of natural resources.
FLOORING
- VIA.RUSTIK natural stone: Eco-friendly, 100% recyclable, and more durable than many artificial products.
BRIDGES CLAD WITH ALUCOBOND
- A composite panel made of two layers of aluminum and a non-combustible mineral core, setting a quality standard in sustainable construction.
CANOPY COVERING WITH TensoSky® ETFE
- Made of Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE), a sustainable, energy-efficient, and lightweight material. From extrusion to transportation to the construction site, ETFE requires minimal energy compared to similar cladding materials, reducing the overall carbon footprint.
