2005 – The first professional Business Park in Romania, Novo Park
Novo Park, one of the largest business parks in Bucharest, has become a landmark in the Pipera office area. HP is the longest-standing tenant, with an uninterrupted presence of 20 years.
2020 – The international launch of the IMMUNE Building Standard™
The global standard that redefines the future of office buildings by certifying their resilience to current and future health risks, proposing a coherent set of measures that any office owner worldwide can implement to ensure the health quality of their buildings. 2021 – The first Romanian property owner and developer to join the UN Global Compact
Genesis Property joins the UN Global Compact initiative, the largest global movement for a sustainable future, becoming the first Romanian property owner and developer to enter the United Nations' global community for sustainability and sustainable development.
2022 – Implementation of the largest renewable energy project in an office park in Romania
The implementation of the largest renewable energy project in an office park in Romania involved the installation of over 1,000 photovoltaic panels covering an area of more than 4,000 square meters, operating under a prosumer model. These panels were installed on the rooftops of office buildings within YUNITY Park (Novo Park) in northern Bucharest, following an investment of 1 million euros.
2023 – Genesis FM becomes the first property management company in Romania to obtain the EMAS Registration Certificate
In July 2023, Genesis FM, part of the Genesis Property group, became the first company in Romania's real estate sector to obtain the Registration Certificate in the prestigious Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS), marking a significant milestone in concrete environmental protection initiatives.
2023 – Securing approval for its short-term CO2 emissions reduction target from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
Genesis Property becomes the first real estate company in Romania to obtain approval for its short-term CO2 emissions reduction target, by 2030, from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The company has committed to reducing its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by at least 46% by 2030 compared to the 2019 baseline. Additionally, it has pledged to measure and reduce Scope 3 emissions, aiming to secure SBTi validation for its Net-Zero long-term CO2 emissions reduction target in 2024.
2023 – The New Paradigm of the Future Workspace: YUNITY Park rewrites the rules of office parks with a specially designed public space, a sustainable extension of the office
YUNITY Park, with its radical transformation of a parking lot into a 7,500 sqm urban oasis, represents an innovative and forward-thinking vision in the design of future office parks, where constructed public spaces will play a pivotal role in attracting businesses and talent.
